Test Run! ----by Tpicasso Computer Ease-Drop

2005-07-08 - 6:57 p.m.

I found this today on a computer at school... I thought it was funny.

Dear Jessica,

My name is ********, and I live next door. I would like to apologize for myself, and on the behalf of my roommates, for all the disturbance we have caused you. It was never our intent to disrupt the peace or bother anyone whatsoever. We are all musicians, who love music, and we failed to realize that not everyone shares our opinion. We were unaware as to how loud we were, being exposed to loud music everyday, and in all honesty never wanted to bother anyone. I’m aware that it is our fault for not being conscious and cautious of our volume, and we regret that it was disturbing someone. I also apologize for not establishing a healthy neighborly relationship from the beginning, and our lack of communication, unfortunately, has brought us to this point. Our lease at the end of this month on July 31st, and all of us will be moving out for good. I have just graduated from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, and I will be leaving the country. I understand, from speaking with my roommate’s parents, that you would like us to leave, and we are. I can assure you that you will not hear, or be disturbed, by anyone of us from this point forward ever again. Hopefully you would be gracious enough to drop the charges that are against myself, and we can forget this matter. Again, I’m terribly sorry for any inconveniences we have caused over the year, and I hope you can forgive us. If you could let me know how you would like to handle this situation, and if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know as soon as possible. You can call, e-mail, or just drop a letter in between our screen door and front door. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
